I’ve put together some of the questions I’m asked most often about garden maintenance, payments, garden waste and the services I offer. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — I’m always happy to help.
🌱 Will you take my garden waste away?
Most homes in Stevenage and the surrounding areas have the luxury of a brown garden waste wheelie bin. Where possible, I will use your garden waste bin and can plan work around collection dates.
If you don’t have access to a garden waste collection service, I can take the waste away for you. This may incur an additional charge, depending on the amount and type of waste.
🌱 I don’t carry cash — how can I pay?
No problem! I accept contactless payments, including Apple Pay, through Tyl by NatWest.
I also accept payment by bank transfer or standing order, making it easy to choose whichever payment method works best for you.
🌱 Do you work all year round, or just in spring and summer?
I work all year round. Gardens don’t stop growing when summer ends, and there are always jobs to be done throughout the seasons.
From regular maintenance and winter pruning to leaf clearing and preparing your garden for spring, I can help keep your garden looking its best throughout the year.
🌱 I’ve called, but there was no answer. What should I do?
If I’m working in a garden, I may not be able to answer my phone. I’d rather give your call my full attention than answer while using machinery or working safely.
The best way to get in touch is by text message or WhatsApp. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
🌱 I can’t get out to buy plants. Can you supply and plant them for me?
Absolutely. I can source plants on your behalf and plant them for you, taking into consideration your garden, soil, aspect and the conditions the plants will need to thrive.

🌱 I can manage my garden myself, but need help with the bigger jobs. Can you help?
Of course! You don’t need to have a regular garden maintenance service to use KLR Gardening.
If you’re happy to manage the day-to-day jobs but need an extra pair of hands for things such as hedge trimming, seasonal pruning or leaf clearing, I can help.
🌱 I’m a landlord. Can you maintain my rental properties?
Yes. I provide garden maintenance services for landlords and tenants of rental properties.
I can help keep gardens tidy and presentable with regular maintenance or one-off visits, depending on your requirements.
🌱 Do you offer services that can be paid for in advance?
Yes. If you would like to pay for a service in advance, this can be arranged.
I also offer gift vouchers, which can make a lovely gift for someone who enjoys their garden but could use a helping hand.
